Oye Lucky Lucky Oye

There is this lucky bastard around called Imran Hashmi.  No I am not calling him lucky for being a serial-whatever but for grabbing films having chartbusting music.  Almost all of his movies have hit tracks.  Earlier our Kaka and Sallu Miya were sitting on that crest.  

Another such lucky but hardworking chap is Abhay Deol.  All critically acclaimed films have come across his way and a couple of more( DevD , OLLO )are in his kitty.  Envy you dude!!! Good luck anyways :)

The Veiled Rebecca

Last weekend we visited Salar Jung museum here in Hyderabad. In my opinion it is the best place to visit in this city, However, there are plenty of cool places here but museum is awesome. You can spend whole day overthere. We could not finish it fully in 2.5 hours. It has art objects collected from all over the world. The best of all was the statue of "The Veiled Rebecca" a biblical character. The Italian artist, Giovanni Maria Benzoni , has brilliantly created the lady in transparent veil with a milky white glowing marble.

The other attractions of this museum are

- The embellished actual weapons of Qutub Shahi dynasty

I recommend all of you to visit the museum and also the Golkonda fort if you happen to come to this city.

A Poem

On the occasion of holi, just thought of posting the Holi-Poem I had composed 2 yrs back in IITK.



HOLI KE NAYE NAYE RANG HAI
HUM YAAR DOSTO KE SANG HAI
SAB KE HATH MEIN BHAANG HAI
LOG DEKH KE DANG HAI.

AAJ NA KOI GORA HAI, NA KALA HAI.
SAB KOI LAL, HARA, PILA HAI.

SAB KA JIVAN AISA HI RANGIN HO YEH DUA HAI MERI RAB SE
AUR GANA "TU HI TU SATRANGI RE" YAAD YA RAHA HAI FROM "DIL SE."

YAAR DOST MILKE GA RAHE HAI KAWWALI,
AUR USME BHI AA GAYI WOH LAL CHUNARWALI.
ROZ HAIRAN HOTE THE DEKH KE UNKE GALO KI LALI,
AAJ HUMNE HI BANAI HAI UNKE GALO KI LALI.

AGAR MAI BAHEK JAU TO SAMBHALNA MERE YAAR,

LOG BOLENGE YEH TO KUCH JYADA HI FILMI HO RELA HAI.
TO IDHAR KAUN SENTI HO RELA HAI.
